This weekend at Wicklow Rugby Club, we welcome Montigny Rugby Union Club, France,. They are travelling with 23 Players (Boys and Girls) and 9 Adults.

Wicklow Town is officially twinned with Montigny-le-Bretonneux in France. This long-standing partnership has spanned over three decades.

Since the Partnership began, there have been many Rugby exchanges, between Montigny Rugby Club and Wicklow Rugby Club. This weekend on Saturday 18 April, we see Wicklow U14’s and  U13’s take on their Montigny counterparts in Ashtown Lane, in what should be an entertaining game of Rugby with French and Wicklow Rugby flare on display.  Kick-off at 2pm, the Clubhouse will be open all day with live Traditional music from 5pm.  

This ensures to be a great day of Rugby and entertainment for all the family. Pop up and enjoy and let’s give our visitors a great Wicklow  welcome.
